Doing okay

I wrote a long post at lunch yesterday - on paper, because I don't feel comfortable posting at work.

Yesterday I walked for 40 minutes and did 3 sets each of wall push ups and squats.

Since we have no vending machines, it's pretty easy to stick with what I pack, although I do have a stash or raw, unsalted almonds in my case in case I get really hungry.

I'm beginning to settle into a routine and I am starting to have a bit more energy in the evenings, although the weekend is still my time to catch up on everything.

Checking in

Work is taking up a lot of my brain and energy.  But I am enjoying it, and I believe this is a job where I can be successful.

I packed my food and walked for 55 minutes today.  My next step is to make some flash cards with exercises I can do in my office and pick 3 or so to do every day.

So I am building back up.

Crazy

Home from being out of town.  Work is good but very busy and long days and when I get home my brain is marshmallow fluff.  I am at least walking and watching what I eat.

Life is pretty good - no idea when Florida house will close.  Disgusted beyond belief.

Touching base, in bullet points

1.  Our team is in the company's old, outgrown building.  It is just us. No vending machines - just a break room with a small fridge and a sink.  I have to pack in everything I consume for the day.  This is good.

2. I did a workout video 3 mornings (not much, but something) and walked at lunch 4 days.  Go me!

3.  I am liking my new job - I think it is a much better fit than my last one.
