In a shocking development….

My mom calls me this morning and says “I never asked you what the orthodontist said.” My response was “Has an orthodontist ever seen a teenager and said they didn’t need braces?” The boy needs braces. His issues are minor and he’ll only need to wear the them for 9 months.

Let’s review yesterday shall we? Termite control: $1300. Braces: $1700. If I spend $3000 in a span of 12 hours I should at least have a really hot cabana boy to show for it! (Joking). Ugh. Not the best week on the family budget!

My tomato plants and herbs are looking really good. I hope I don’t regret trying to grow the tomatoes in pots.

I’m feeling fairly unenthusiastic about diet & exercise right now, but I’m not drowning in a vat of cheese dip either. I am holding steady for right now.

This whole thing couple with my house being all disorganized (dining room emptied out while the floor goes down – hub will complete tonight) has left me with pretty low energy. I am walking outside at lunch at least. We are taking the dogs for a walk this evening.
