Scuppers the Sailor Dog
When my son was a little boy, the Little Golden Book “The Sailor Dog” was one of his favorites. Maybe it was the sailor dog crib bedding – maybe it was that grandpa was a pro waterskiier at Cypress Gardens a billion years ago. In any case – he has always loved the water and has been skiing since he was 1 year old.
When my mom & stepdad divorced, my mom really missed being out on the water and missed watching the boy ski. She always wanted a pontoon boat, but they always had ski boats. This weekend her 20 year dream became a reality: we boat a pontoon boat. Yep, a new 20 foot Starcraft! I ordered a grill so my hub would have something to do *smirk*.
Oh – Friday my MP3 player broke at the gym! Luckily the hub bought the insurance, so we went to Best Buy Friday night and picked out a new one. Then we spent time over the weekend loading music onto the computer and then onto the new player.
Saturday was a lot of shopping – for the boat, the hub for pants, for groceries. Sunday was cleaning the house & the cooking.
Food was kinda crazy on Saturday – more eating out than I would have liked, but hey, that’s what a free day is for. I am trying to get sick with something, so I spent the rest of the time trying to get some quality rest.
Speaking of which, I think I figured out why I am having insomnia, and figured out the cure. I take a 12 hour time release Welbutrin, and the evening one was causing the insomnia. By taking it right before bedtime, I bypass the insomnia. Yay!
Have a good day.

Good on you for the boat! I am so jealous!!! And yes, Wellbutrin can really jag you. I take my second one midafternoon, so I'm not running around the ceiling at bedtime.
I am so jealous and I am a land-locked lubber. Nice boat!! If you hub doesn't want to grill, I volunteer ;-)
