"Every human being is the author of his own health or disease." ~~Buddha

Thanks for the comments. My attitude is much better today! For one, I agree with Buddha – my health IS my responsibility. I ate healthy foods yesterday, I ran this morning, and I got my toenails painted pink – with flowers on my big toes. I think the attitude turnaround is largely due to the polish – smirk.

After thinking it over, I have decided to run by Target this afternoon and buy a pair of capris and maybe a pair of shorts, and a top. There is a Goodwill in my small town, but their clothes aren’t all that. I’d rather stop by one place where I’m 90% certain I’ll find something, rather than have to run around Greensboro (and deal with the traffic here) and gamble that a place might or might not have anything. Given the time constraints of this week, I’ll spend a little more money.

When I get back from vacation, I’ll see where the weather is. Right now its unseasonably warm, but if it cools off then I won’t need anything for 3 or 4 more weeks. So, I’ll get a couple of things and then wait and see.

One of the great things about Edisto is the gorgeous 7 mile bike loop that we ride together each morning. I think I’ll get plenty of exercise, so I just need to keep my food under control. I so need this vacation. Work is kinda stressful right now, so it’s a good time for a break.

I am re-reading Tom Venuto’s “Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle” e-book. Very motivational read. I got cardio coach kicking my butt, and I just got my copy of “The Women” by Bill Dobbins – a book of photographs of the worlds’ top female body builders. Amazing.
